Tips for creating a great Cajole

Updated over 7 months ago

Don't rush through creating a Cajole. Your campaign page is your key selling tool, where backers (and even the people you may be targeting) are going to focus their consideration on if they want to be a part of your Cajole or not.

You should try your best to:

Write a clear and concise story, but keep it short and to the point.

No one wants to read about your life story, but they do want to know how you got this idea and why you're eager to see it happen.

Set a realistic and achievable goal.

To increase your chances of achieving your goal by the deadline, don’t set it too high, but seek a realistic amount that takes into account how much it will cost to complete the Cajole. Also, remember to budget for the 5 percent fee that Cajole collects if the Cajole is completed.

Upload visually appealing artwork.

Your campaign image will often be the first (and only) piece of content a potential backer will see before deciding to back your campaign.

Create persuasive perks.

These are often what motivate people to back your project, so you’ll want to make them as exciting and fun as possible. Is there any room for someone to be included in the experience?
