Cajole Me is a feature that lets anyone draft a Cajole campaign aimed at you, with all the basics pre-decided by you. Think of it as your personal “challenge me” link.
How it works
1. You enable Cajole Me in your account settings and pre-set:
– Campaign type: All-or-Nothing (only collect money if the goal is met) or Show Regardless (the campaign runs no matter what).
– Money recipient: You, or a charity of your choosing.
– Charity name (if you picked Charity).
2. A “Cajole Me” button appears on your public profile.
3. Visitors who click it land on a one-page campaign-create form pre-filled with your name as the target and your locked-in preferences.
4. They fill in the goal amount, schedule, headline, conditions, and proof requirements — and submit. Cajole reviews and approves it like any normal campaign.
Why use it
It lowers the friction for someone to challenge you. Instead of asking them to figure out how to find you, navigate the create flow, and configure everything, you’ve already pre-decided the structure. They just bring the dare.
How to enable it
1. Account settings → Profile tab.
2. Scroll to “Allow Cajole Me.”
3. Pick your campaign type, money recipient, and charity (if applicable).
4. Save. The button is live on your profile immediately.
You can turn it off any time. Flip the toggle off and the button disappears. Anyone with your direct Cajole Me link will see a “not accepting Cajoles right now” page.
