We send you emails about transactions, campaigns you’re following, challenges aimed at you, and platform updates. You can choose which categories you want.

The 11 categories
Each category is a switch:
• Account & security — sign-in alerts, password changes, account status (transactional — can’t be turned off).
• Backing receipts — confirmation when you back a campaign (transactional).
• Campaign status updates — when a campaign you backed reaches its goal, has its proof reviewed, or fails (transactional).
• Refunds — when money returns to your wallet (transactional).
• Cajole Me invites — when someone uses your Cajole Me link to start a challenge for you (transactional).
• Admin actions — campaign approval, return-with-feedback, rejection (transactional, for creators).
• Target invites — when a creator points a Cajole at you and we reach out for your acceptance.
• Comments and updates — replies on campaigns you’re involved in, creator update posts.
• New campaigns from people you follow — when a user you back often starts a fresh campaign.
• Marketing & news — feature launches, fundraising milestones, new Cajole content. Pure marketing.
• Tips and product education — onboarding-style tips on getting the most out of Cajole.
What you can and can’t turn off
The transactional categories above (marked transactional) are required for your account to function — receipts, security alerts, status changes you’re directly affected by. Everything else is optional and can be muted from the same screen.
