Managing your email notifications

Cajole sends two kinds of email:

Transactional emails — These are tied to specific things happening with your campaigns, your bids, your perks, your account, and your refunds. You'll always receive these — they're part of how the platform works.

Marketing emails — These include the periodic Cajole newsletter, announcements about new features, and recommendations based on what you've backed or created. You can opt out of any or all of these from your Notification Preferences page.

Managing your preferences

Visit your account settings → Notification Preferences to see every email category and toggle each one on or off. You can also unsubscribe with one click from the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email — most modern email clients (Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook) also show an "Unsubscribe" button directly next to the sender name for those messages.

Unsubscribing from everything at once

On your Notification Preferences page there's a "Pause all marketing email" toggle. Flipping that off stops every non-transactional message at once. You can flip it back on any time without losing your per-category settings.
