If the target declines a cajole, campaign creators have the chance to make one last attempt with a Let it Ride campaign. (Dueling Campaigns are unable to Let it Ride).
When a campaign isn't successful, backers will receive Cajole credits back to their account and will be able to apply their purchase to any other active Cajole on our platform. (For more on why we do this, click here).
For backers who made their payment via direct deposit, they may be entitled to have their payment returned provided it is to the same account they used to send their payment. We cannot return payment to a separate account than it was received from.
Backers may reach out to Support to request this as the end of a failed campaign.
Transaction fees taken from the initial purchase will not be returned. Any ACH processing fees for returning a payment will also be deducted from the returned amount.
