How we moderate Cajole

Cajole moderates our platform on four levels.

The first is automated. Every campaign that’s submitted for review goes through Nigel, who checks it against our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Nigel flags policy issues, reviews the cover image for universal violations (nudity, gore, hate symbols, illegal substances, low quality), and prepares a recommendation for our human review team.

The second is human review. Our moderation team reads every submitted campaign in detail — Nigel’s recommendation is advisory only, the final decision (approve, return for edits, or reject) is always made by a person.

The third is active monitoring. Our team uses the site daily and keeps an eye out for any campaign or comment that drifts outside our rules and policies, even after approval.

The fourth is user reports. We review every report submitted by the community. If you see something that doesn’t belong on Cajole, report it via the link on the campaign page or contact us directly.
